About
Beth Nixon is a documentary photographer based in Keighley, West Yorkshire. Her work often explores themes of Locality, identity and the sense of self.
After Graduating with a BA Hons in Photography from the University of Central Lancashire in 2019 she continued to develop her own personal practice and securing commissions with companies including Keighley Creative and Novara Media as well as exhibiting her work as part of the More T'North exhibition at the Harris museum, Preston and The Little Nomad Gallery.
In 2022 she began volunteering with Keighley Photo Hub CIC, a not-for-profit organisation driven by a belief that everyone should have access to photography regardless of class, wealth, or environment. Throughout 2022 Beth worked with them on a large project funded by Bradford Council Arts & Heritage Grant as well as helping deliver Photography workshops across the local community.
